LOCAL TRANSPORT: Mountain Village Cascata d’Otro, which is just 650m from the centre of Alagna, is connected to the ski-lifts and the town centre by a local shuttle service. The same service can also be used to reach Piazzale dell’Acqua Bianca, the starting point for many excursions in the Alta Valsesia Natural Park. The city of Varallo, a familiar cultural centre in Valsesia, just 36 km away from Alagna Valsesia, can also be reached by scheduled bus services.
